We work to save their lives, to protect their rights and to keep them safe from harm. To give them a childhood in which they are protected, healthy, and educated.
In Guyana and Suriname UNICEF operates under a single Country Programme Document (CPD) with five programmes outputs Lifelong Learning, Safety and Justice for Children, Social Inclusion and Child Rights Monitoring, Emergency Preparedness and Response and Migrant Response.
The Programme of cooperation runs from 2017-2021 and aims at achieving the best possible results for the most deprived children and their families. Working upstream at policy
