Our client is seeking to hire a Regional Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, provide administrative and project management support to the, Business Development / Export Manager, Export Administrator and Export Sales Representatives. Assist in the co-ordination of export sales activities amongst the Sales, Warehouse and Production departments and provide customer support service to our customers and assist in other areas of the Export Sales Department as needed. At all times, ensure that the Company is projected as the Leader in the Industry and a Good Corporate Citizen.

Job Requirements:

  • Organize, facilitate and follow up on issues related to meetings and other special events, as required.
  • Attend Export meetings and prepare, distribute and maintain the official minutes of said meetings.
  • Assist in the coordination, supervision and completion of special projects, as appropriate.
  • Respond to all enquires in a professional manner and maximize sales opportunities at all times.
  • Provide information to customers, both internal and external, and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints and queries in conjunction with the Export Administrator, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist walk-in foreign customers of designated territories, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to include maintaining and creating files, performing routine clerical functions (copying, filing, faxing, etc.), composing correspondence; handling incoming & outgoing mail; ensuring timely response to written requests.
  • Serve as liaison with other departments on export activities as well as those related to the Business Development / Export Manager’s and Export Administrator’s offices falling within your ambit.
  • Organize workload to ensure deadlines are met; schedule and prioritize work assignments.
  • Provide administrative support to the Jamaica office as well as in any other areas of operations, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Export Sales Representatives to include but not limited to the following:
    • correspond with customers.
    • coordinate orders.
    • ensure that the best freight rates are available to customers.
    • prepare, fax and/or e-mail Proforma Invoices to customers.
    • ensure that orders are approved by customers, forwarded to the Inventory Clerk to be entered into AccPac and copies sent to the relevant Department(s) for approval.
    • liaise with the Customs Department to ensure that they receive the order and shipping draft to prepare shipping documents.
    • assist with routine administrative tasks.
  • Ensure that “export receivables” are in good order and customers payments are correctly applied against their accounts.
  • Manage the Aqua Systems account
  • Ensure that all-necessary documentation being submitted is accurate and done on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that the department and all of its related areas are kept orderly, clean and tidy.
  • Perform other job related duties as specified by the Directors, Business Development / Export Manager and Export Administrator.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience providing administrative support to sales team
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
